It wasn’t just self-depreciation pity, it was growth and empathy. Ariel can laugh at himself but DOESN’T use the self-depreciation crutch that is all too common in this genre.
What I didn't like
I want more show!
My overall impression
Theatre meets comedy in a punk rock scene. This was soul-filling real talk about being a marginalized person in the world we live in. Lights, sound, and a speck of poetry really turned the show into an experience as we got to see a little glimpse of Ariel’s life.
