What I liked

Every time she went to war with her own understanding of Marilyn. It’s like an animal overtook her. It made Marilyn palpable, almost like a second character, and I never considered the two in such a dark, yet beautiful dialogue.

What I didn't like

The play started fast, I found it slightly overwhelming. But it’s quite a challenge with the strict hour time limit.

My overall impression

Everleigh’s force and Brian’s direction succeeded in an ambitious attempt to clearly represent and bring a sense of understanding to an American icon who is somehow impossible to see, yet impossible to look away from – Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

The costume designer must be noted here too, for the costumes and the story were impeccably intertwined and informed by each other with no lapses in continuity.
