The simple stage and lighting and small theater combine for a fitting backdrop to Jonatan’s revealing journey that he powerfully accentuates with music, movement, props, and passion.
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind as every moment of Jonatan’s artfully crafted story is entertaining and enlightening, raw and real.
My overall impression
What a delight to be in the audience for this world premiere! With courage and clarity, Jonatan brings the audience on a trip with a backpack choke-full of his own freedom, fears, and dreams. Yet, he entices the audience to do the same… each with our own alchemy of emotions and experiences.
The performance is intimate and immersive. One moment, lighthearted and lyrical… the next moment, poignant and piercing. Jonatan is a deep well whose face lights up the stage with an evocative intention that leaves the audience both smiling and searching. I’m eager to experience more performances by Jonatan.
