This story is important. It is an important part of the LGBTQ history. The work feels urgent today. The actors were so good. That urgency was delivered by these performers.

My overall impression
This was a beautiful piece of theater. Each of the actors truly delivered. The story is so timely. I was impressed by the lead actor who portrayed the nervous, odd energy of a man traumatized by his upbringing and being his authentic self during this time in history and fighting his/our fight. I loved the directors choice to have two characters who had the most courage in this story ( Dr Fryer & Dr Spitzer)be played by the same actor. This actor was a stand out for me as was the actor playing Barbara Gittings and Robs mother
