What I liked

The writing was absolutely gorgeous, Gabrielle is a Poet with a Voice! The design was simple yet impactful, and each aspect beautifully enhanced the performance — the sound, the lighting, the mirrors/doors/portals, the movement! The piece ripples through time and loops back on itself in way that gave me chills and left me feeling inspired and aligned.

My overall impression

They Tend To Themselves is a healing spell! The time travel magic of this ritual of self- and community-healing was truly a gift to witness. Gabrielle is a brilliant writer and a warm, gorgeous, vulnerable, powerful presence on stage!
