This was high art. Few people could write and deliver an hour-long poem in a way that hooks you from start to finish. Gabrielle is a wordsmith, a magnetic performer, and a deep well of inner wisdom. A beautiful hour of theater, I didn't want it to end. Go see this show! One of the most well-crafted things you'll see at Fringe....

I fully understood, embraced with open arms, and possibly even evoked Gabrielle as one of my ancient ancestors channeled to remind my spirit to think beyond my physical essence. As she grabbed the hand of a Black woman and spoke truth through touch, she erased years of pain, opened a portal for healing, and made way for enlightenment.

Gabrielle Jackson held the audience in a space of healing and empowerment. Her grace and movement kept the story flowing throughout the less than an hour theatre piece. Everyone in that room during the preview were in tears, not because it was imposed on us or a guilt that was thwarted, but the human connectedness that we all inhabited during the play. ...
