A truly distinctive effort which needs to grow a bit more. Choreopoem is one of the most challenging forms in performance; and combining a radical use of mirrors adds another layer of complexity to a demanding arena. ... full review

This was high art. Few people could write and deliver an hour-long poem in a way that hooks you from start to finish. Gabrielle is a wordsmith, a magnetic performer, and a deep well of inner wisdom. A beautiful hour of theater, I didn't want it to end. Go see this show! One of the most well-crafted things you'll see at Fringe.... full review

My solar plexus exploded each time Gaby’s voice reached back hundreds of years to bring us to this very moment in time, together. My heart exploded during this show in the most affirming of ways. Not because I was a Black woman, but because it is a rare moment to witness the truth onstage. I was left Breathless. I left the theatre in tears but ready to not take on the world, but t... full review

Gabrielle Jackson held the audience in a space of healing and empowerment. Her grace and movement kept the story flowing throughout the less than an hour theatre piece. Everyone in that room during the preview were in tears, not because it was imposed on us or a guilt that was thwarted, but the human connectedness that we all inhabited during the play. ... full review
