My overall impression
This was one of my Fringe Festival “gambles”: I wanted to see how can one hour about saving a giant eggshell, the dialogue all in a gibberish only the actors, apparently, understand, could be compelling. I STILL don’t understand everything that takes place, but I now have a little idea about how this tortuously difficult writing job succeeds: an endlessly involved writer/director who really directs a tight cast. Elizabeth Colon Nelson, Gabriel McKinney, and Tim Reid are each superb. Wordless ensemble performance at its most expressive.
