My overall impression
“Lolpera” is brilliant! Part of brilliance is picking what to write about, and Andrew and Ellen have definitely caught the zeitgeist of the moment and written about it masterfully. This show is so good that in a year I expect it to be on Broadway at ticket prices I cannot afford. If you haven’t seen it yet, let Basement Cat assimilate you to catch it wherever and whenever you can. It’ll be in New York in August.
