My overall impression

Reaches for poetics but trips on its own ambition. Deliberate obfuscation of plot and character motivation betray a serious arrogance. The cast moves bravely, slowly, through the density of it all, including more musical and sound effect ‘stings’ than a Mexcian telenovella. Just once I’d like to see Padua Playwrights present a show where character and story matter at least as much as ‘the playwright’s voice.’
