My overall impression

This show is seriously AMAZING. Had the craziest ‘fringe experience’ that a couple had brought their 3 year old to the show and he started talking the second the curtain went up. The actresses were incredibly professional and just kept working. The guy behind me asked the father to take the kid out and I thought their was going to be a fight… but the actresses kept going. Finally, ten minutes in, the father removed his noisy son. So…. most of the audience wasn’t sure what was going on in the play since we couldn’t help but watch the obnoxious man and his doubly obnoxious kid… still, the actresses kept going and within minutes we were all completely absorbed, hanging on to every word. I definitely want to go back and see this brilliant show again WITHOUT the interruption of the child. Bravo to the actresses for keeping it together. Sister Cities is a smart, sassy show with surprises at every turn. Despite it’s somber message, there are hysterical moments and I applaud the cast, the director and the writer for their excellent work!
