Robert and the Magic Mirror: Deep Space, NEIN!

The show is very much a big laugh at itself and that is what makes it fun. I couldn't believe I was laughing at some of the simplistic gags; the excellent comedic acting and improvisation of Mr. Boesel and Mr. Moore made me not feel guilty about it though. The bits were so outrageous that I got caught off guard several times and burst out laughing. I loved the live band (and the theme song) and the cheesy sets as well. I kept thinking I was watching gifted 10-year-old's do their first backyard play and who doesn't appreciate that kind of performance? I enjoy being surprised and this play delivered with several good ones. I left smiling and appreciate that.... full review

I am sorry only that I caught the last performance of this terrific show. If we are lucky, Robert Boesel and Matt Moore will continue to work together: each relishes the sudden (and seemingly, endlessly funny) improvisation that might catch his comedic partner off-guard, and each is savvy enough about his partner's considerable gifts and abilities to never toss out a line his buddy can't retrieve. Or stray too long or too far from the book that story is compromised or lost. They're simply hilarious. The show was absolutely hilarious!!! The characters really worked well together and played off one another. It was no stop laughing from start to finish. And the live band really added some fun interactions to the show. We can't wait to see the next show!! Great work guys!!!... full review

This is a show that basically shows why the 'Rule of 3s' will always work. It's very funny, and you can tell these two actors have worked with each other for a long time, just because they play off each other so well. You will find yourself laughing quite heartily throughout the production. Now, unlike other Fringe shows, this one is not an intense bout of religion and guns. This is a fun show to just sit back and enjoy. And enjoy it you shall. I recommend this show as it is what very few theatrical shows are nowadays: Entertaining. ... full review

Matt and Robert are both very talented performers. This show had something for everyone: visual gags, witty historical references, a singing hologram, live musical accompaniment, whimsical props, comical dancing, improvised banter, a cautionary illustration of the dangers of greed and... lasers!
