My overall impression
The show is very much a big laugh at itself and that is what makes it fun. I couldn’t believe I was laughing at some of the simplistic gags; the excellent comedic acting and improvisation of Mr. Boesel and Mr. Moore made me not feel guilty about it though. The bits were so outrageous that I got caught off guard several times and burst out laughing.
I loved the live band (and the theme song) and the cheesy sets as well. I kept thinking I was watching gifted 10-year-old’s do their first backyard play and who doesn’t appreciate that kind of performance?
I enjoy being surprised and this play delivered with several good ones. I left smiling and appreciate that.
