My overall impression
Jan O’Connor hits the mark with one of the funniest plays in this year’s fringe with “Gayby’s Playdate.” Both actors, Mandy Dunlap and Zuri Alexander, directed by Gabrieal Griecgo, were spot on, and the laughs were quick and spontaneous. If this were the only play that evening it would be worth the ticket price, but you also get three other fantastic works, “Another Few Good PBJ” by Jeromy Kehoe and Cailin Harrison’s one man laugh-riot, " Whole Foods, " about a security guard at our favorite food market, starring William Jones under the comic direction of Courtney Ryan , This is followed by showstopper, “Talk in Ten” again by Cailin
Harrison but directed by award winner, Tom Cook. In this uncomfortably funny play, Zuri Alexander puts the sex in sexy and has you laughing and squirming with co-star, James Babbin, at the same time. A great evening of Fierce Entertainment from writers and actors who understand living theatre and the fun of excitement.
