My overall impression
As an aspiring artist in the “land of la,” as Barbara Keegan’s character Rue so wonderfully put it, this show touched me on a deep level. It explores celebrity aspirations and the lives that result from them in a very poignant and broadcast manner. If you’ve ever dreamed of an artistic career I believe it is impossible to see this show without it mirroring some, if not all, of the fears, hopes, joys, and pains of this topsy turvy world which we all love.
All of the artists involved have lifted Jon’s wonderful word’s to great heights and should collectively be very proud of their work.
Definitely check it out!
