My overall impression
I have very mixed feelings on this production. There are some fascinating ideas at work here and I find myself still thinking about the production days later, which is a feat in and of itself. I wanted more from this production, but I think there are some good elements here and I hope that some of the technical glitches that others have mentioned can get cleaned up before the rest of their shows begin.
Richard Parker resulted in a long discussion with my partner-in-crime and this show just might be worth watching just for the conversations it will start. I think the subject matter would have been better served in the original 20-minute format and with a more realistic bent instead of delving into what I saw as impossible, fantastical elements. The nature of fate and coincidence is a tricky one and the real-life examples brought up time and time again in the show were fascinating and more than a little creepy. I would have preferred the dialogue and acting to be a touch subtler, but that might just be my personal preference and there is plenty here to admire and respect.
