What I liked
Charlotte never felt too much like she was shoehorning anything in. Everything was honest beyond just us knowing it was true; she approached her performance with subtlety and warmth. As I say in my general review I really love her energy as a performer.
What I didn't like
I would have liked a little more thought to the organization of the story and how the message is being told. All the parts individually are beautiful and touching in this piece, but somehow the way they are strung together feels very much like Charlotte has lined up the dominos and then in her ending she shows us the aftermath of them falling, but we didn’t get to see/experience how the dominos fell when they fell. Can’t wait to see the next version of this if/when she takes the time to do an edit.
My overall impression
A sweet and touching piece about trying to make meaning out of tragedy. Charlotte is a great performer with wonderful energy that draws you in. Hope she takes the time to develop this further!!!
