What I liked
I liked so many aspects of this show. In particular I was struck by Charlotte’s vulnerability. She lets us in in order to share a deep, magical, emotional connection.
But beyond that, the writing moves through sequences of her life with ease — just like the songs she sings.
The audience is left with unshakeable gratitude for our shared humanity and profound realizations about the meaning of life.

My overall impression
Wow. Looking Past Loss is a feat.
The writing fantastically interweaves heartbreak and positivity, with interludes of original songwriting that cuts straight to your core. Complemented by a fabulous singing voice. Looking Past Loss teaches us how to grieve — not only portraying what this process looks like but reminding us how we can emerge from it stronger. I would recommend this show to anyone.
