Looking Past Loss

Looking Past Loss was one of the most incredible experiences of intimate theatre I've had in so many years. Charlotte is genuinely brilliant in her writing, acting, and storytelling. She made such heart-filled and radiant memories of pain, loss, love, and everyday joy so insanely universal through their specificity. I didn't realize how much I needed to see this play, and I cherished every bit of it.... full review

It was a riveting tour-de-force, a lifetime of humor, of trauma, of love, of understanding and misunderstanding all in an edge-of-your-seat 35 minutes. Charlotte's performance was exquisitely honed, transitioning from characters and time frames with a skill and technical precision was that breathtaking. Wow. This show left me in tears, and basically the whole crowd in tears. Absolutely moving, what incredible talent I witnessed at this show! Her ability to transition so seamlessly between such drastically different characters is remarkable. She absolutely nailed each character from the grandma, her mother who suffered a stroke to her friend who struggled with alcoholism. Both comedic and heart-wrenching, Looking Past Loss is a must-see. 10/10 acting!... full review
