Such an excellent performance by a solo actor. With no one else, and very little else on stage save a plastic sports cooler, Ben Moroski carried this story flawlessly from start to finish.
What I didn't like
There is no way this could be improved upon. As far as dramatic solo shows go, this was perfection.
My overall impression
An absolute powerhouse of a performance by a solo actor. The description could never do it justice, and neither can this review, but I will try. Ben Moroski delivered a moving, sad, and sometimes funny portrayal of a man spiraling into depression and alcoholism, his alcoholism compounding his problems, his life unraveling. He draws the audience in with his story, the death of his dog, his breakup with his girlfriend, his visit to his parents, all while in the haze of heavy drinking. Absolutely captivating.
