The simplicity of the set with only three props. The quick and clever changes from one scene (or in some cases just one moment) to the next. The interspersed sections of comedy, deep reflection, and a continual direct connection with the audience.
What I didn't like
A few more runs of the show so more people could enjoy it?
My overall impression
A riveting, mesmerizing, tour de force by Ben Moroski. Equal parts humor, poetry, and emotional devastation as ‘Dog’ wades through the swamp of his alcoholism with all the guilt, inebriated joy, and self-loathing that comes with the journey. Delightfully honest, funny, and heartbreaking all at once.
