It is under an hour long and they have free books after enduring it.
What I didn't like
Everything. The writing. The acting. The fact that there is absolutely not one piece of music in the entire show made it feel like a lecture instead of a piece of live theatre. Have some sound, some transitions. Make me feel something.
My overall impression
Disappointed. I enjoy history and enjoy theatre pieces based on historical figures and events. I knew of this show from previous fringe festivals in years past but had never had the opportunity to see it. I expected more from a show that had been produced as many times as it had. This did not feel like a production from a professional actor in Los Angeles. It felt like a roadside attraction that was apart of a small museum you visit on a 5th grade field trip. The actor had to refer to his script on stage. You could see it taped in his Bible. It’s insulting. I was sitting in the second row and could barely hear at times. I felt my time had been wasted and the money spent had not been honored or appreciated.
