Meg’s writing and acting were excellent. Great story telling. Her impressions of her Texas boyfriend and her immigrant dad are very funny without being mean.
What I didn't like
The live stream started late cutting off the start of the show and the lighting often left Meg’s face washed out to those of us watching from home.
My overall impression
Meg Lin is honest, vulnerable and funny. Her one woman show about growing up as a Chinese American with a mom with mental illness and her struggle to understand her identity and accept herself is heart felt. I really enjoyed this show despite the technical problems the theater had with live streaming.
