Besides everything, I loved the historical video and images. They deepened the experience and the messages of the show.

My overall impression
What a rich part of American history told through the eyes of a journalist as the eyes of a city, the city of Chicago. This was such a joy to watch, and the historian in me was screaming for more! And the acting sucked me right in; fantastic story-telling.
