What I liked
Give “Hot Stuff” every award. The range of emotion, characters, and relationships that are expressed through this solo piece supersedes many full ensemble theater pieces. The costuming, makeup, hair, set, production quality, and MUSIC create such an incredible insight into the mind of Aura Sublime. This performance is the most raw and grounded work I’ve seen in a long time. Aura fully strips down in this show not only physically (did you SEE that ass?) but emotionally. I walked away from this show awestruck and inspired. I am so excited to watch Aura’s stardom take off!

My overall impression
Armed with vape in hand, Aura Sublime is ready to take the world by storm! This show had me laughing, crying, dancing, singing along, speechless, and ridden with goosebumps. “Hot Stuff” is an incredible piece of solo artistry that takes the audience on a journey of self discovery through family, love, identity, and the hilarity of the darkness of life. This show will have you gagged with the remarkably hilarious humanity that is Brett Morachnick, the personality behind the persona that is THE Aura Sublime.
