Aura Sublime did a fabulous job playing host, entertainer and performer. The different acts of the show used props in intentional, provocative ways that emphasized Aura’s drama.
What I didn't like
The show switched between hilarious and heartbreaking at the perfect pace, but the audience didn’t always know how to react. Although the show is very serious in some parts, it requires high energy from everyone in the theater.
My overall impression
I was blown away by the depth of character exploration and emotion performed by Aura Sublime. She was captivating, as she took the audience with her for an emotional breakdown. This was a seriously awesome expression of compartmentalization, trauma, identity and growing up in the 21st century.
