What I liked

The jokes and the performances were great and subtle. It was like real life and I related to so much of it. The tone shifts worked really well too.

What I didn't like

It didn’t detract from the experience, but I was slightly confused what time of day the second half was supposed to be set in, I wonder if a lighting change or small script change could make that more clear.

My overall impression

Us and You is a low-key, low stakes comedy/drama that takes places over two acts. It’s like real life, where it’s sad and funny at the same time, and the conflict between the characters never feels over the top or underdeveloped.
