What I liked
The dedication of all involved created a piece with such depth and specificity.
What I didn't like
The secondary familial characters could have been given more in order to see the effects of exposure to the cycle of abuse and the consequences thereafter.
My overall impression
A powerful show by two artists whose passion for their culture and for justice shines through the piece. It is never easy to tackle the subject of violence and abuse, but the actors do it with such nuance that your heart breaks for all involved in the seemingly never-ending cycle.
