It’s possible to relate to every character in some way at some moment. Particularly impactful when they are at odds and in a tense moment. Each actor gives so much that you can’t help but feel there is a real authenticity. A beautiful young lady with purple hair dancing, an edgy greaser with an electric guitar, a weary married couple transformed by a blazer and a nightclub. It’s a great show.
What I didn't like
I think the show could be improved by incorporating more live instrumentation to replace some of the canned music. Use those guitars more, and get someone on bass.
My overall impression
A wonderful threading of emotional scenes substantiated by the implied mechanics of a surreal reality. The entire show is emotional scenework and it speaks to the audience in a primal way. There is something very human going on here, and that is very refreshing.
