What I liked
I am a sucker for lights and shadows and fog so this did not disappoint. I love a director who does not fear breaking convention and loved the immersive use of the space.
Each actor was given their moment to shine, and shine they did. There were quite a few very memorable moments i’m thinking about the next morning. While every actor had there moment, i would be remiss if i didn’t mention Leigh Wulff tearing it up during her final number. just fantastic!
What I didn't like
I don’t know what i’d cut, but i did want a bit shorter. It’s tough working with the music and mics, but at times i was wanting the music one notch down, and the singers one notch up. Kudos to everyone involved!!
My overall impression
Moody, atmospheric, bold, aggressive, packed with talent.
