What I liked
From the costume to the simplicity of soy de effects and visceral acting, Almanya doesn’t embody but channels the spirit of Noor Inyat Khan and captivates the heart with wise hope and courage for these difficult times.
What I didn't like
As a solo show, nothing, but would be a fantastic feature or series :)
My overall impression
This show resonates the rippling repeat of history, trauma and grief that we are all moving through and reminds us the power EACH of us contains if we can calm our minds, open our hearts, and feel our feet to listen and act in compassion to what our roles may be. A show of wise hope that reflects how even though moments may seem dark, we have come so far in the light that if we keep finding each other, the same won’t repeat and something new in a kinder light may occur.
