What I liked
As I said, bringing in stories from India to shape this story and connect it to this character made the overall story more powerful. She also put in some humor, which is good to allow listeners to shift gears and stay attuned.
What I didn't like
Not much. The final gunshot and lights out need to be more simultaneous. A very, very minor point.
My overall impression
It was a very powerful performance. She embodied the character and showed a range of emotions. I write plays and I found the script to be quite creative. It combined dramatic elements with cultural references that naturally blended with and drove the story. Very artful and clever. I was moved by her story and her performance.
