I liked the set space and lighting. I really believed I was in Vince’s basement. It’s simplistic but it 100% works. All of the actors were equally strong. You can really feel the connection within each of their relationships. I really believed Vince’s character and how important his relationship with both Devin and Jeannette was. He was very creepy but also made you like him through his humor. There were moments where he made you empathize with him as human being with feelings and isn’t just a bad guy keeping people in his basement. Devin and The detective had amazing moments down in the basement breaking expectations in several scenes. Jeannette was charming and at the same time a lot creepier than Vince!
What I didn't like
There were very few moments when the actor’s voice got really soft like a whisper and was unable to hear what she said.
My overall impression
Fantastic show! The entire cast felt engaged and connected with each other. I really got a feel for their relationships to one another. Hilariously creepy; the true definition of dark humor.
