About the Project
Times are tough for Scott, Rick, Joe, and Don. Hollywood success is always just out of reach. When a former child-star dies, he’s posthumously catapulted back into the spotlight. Anything he ever touched is now golden, and his former friends are famous. Convinced lightning can strike twice, Scott and company befriend long-forgotten 70s teen idol Sonny Ames. The Plan: when Sonny dies, the spotlight will shine on them. They woo Sonny, pretending to be high-powered studio execs with a film perfect for his comeback. They build his hopes, all-the-while altering his life for the worse. His suicide seems imminent. But when things don’t go as planned, will the boys have what it takes to kill Sonny themselves?
