The performances, man. It’s amazing how much energy was brought by 8-9 people in such a small space…Everyone brought their A-game, but I gotta give a shout out to the guy who played the high school creep. He steals every scene he’s in, and it’s capped off by by him singing a duet of (what else?) Radiohead’s “Creep”.
What I didn't like
It’s hard to complain about anything. There were times when it felt like the stage was too small for some of the show’s more gifted singers. Such is the nature of black box theatre…My only real complaint is that it wasn’t a full show. At a brisk 60 minutes, it could easily be stretched to double that.
My overall impression
Great show!…A group of misfits riding the nostalgia wave of 90’s/early 2000’s pop songs…An absolute riot!
