Anja’s physicality was captivating. You cannot take your eyes off of her, for you fear you might miss something. She makes it personal to the character and personal for the audience.
What I didn't like
I think the transition from Byron to Allegra could have been made slightly more clear through the writing, because the physicality of the transition was great.
My overall impression
Steps of Glory is a brilliant and intensely creative showcase of one of England’s greatest poets. Anja’s portrayal is raw and refreshing, touching on what it means to love, regret, grieve, and accept. A wonderful actor, a moving and well-written story, and a great show!
