What I liked

The show was well written and the music was absolutely lovely. I enjoyed the dreamlike, fairy tale quality. Some of the lyric lines soared and were really memorable, “I understand art. I don’t need to understand people,” “A dream can be easy to keep when you’ve spent your whole life asleep.”

The ultimate message of the show was sweet.

What I didn't like

I would have enjoyed more specificity and variety in some of the language and plot turns. For example, the repetition of the of the phrase “my longing” lessened the impact after several times. Maybe this and other repeated motifs could have been varied and deepened as the show progressed.

My overall impression

This was a charming and well crafted show. The music was lovely throughout and the performers voices were superb. All in all, an enjoyable experience in the theater!
