What I liked
The 2 main characters really carried the show. Strong voices with some great harmonies and both fully committed to the world they were creating for us. The queen also had a fantastic solo that rang out in the theater space!
What I didn't like
I am not familiar with the source material, but i would love to see the book expanded a bit so the full ensemble had moments to shine as some other characters etc. and i’m sure the team has even more song ideas to come!!!
My overall impression
An enjoyable and swift 40 minutes with lovely voices and well constructed songs that can be enjoyed by all ages! There were some young kids in my audience and they were singing the songs as they left the theater!
