What I liked

The show never let up or felt tired. Just a great performance piece.

What I didn't like

Once in a while a modern colloquialism would be said – like the word “stuff” – that took me out of it for a second. But that was a rare occurrence. I do understand it might make other audience members connect better.

My overall impression

One man. One chair. One glad of water. But yet for that hour of masterful storytelling I was transported to an ancient land full of dragons, demons, heroes, and kings. The language, for the most part, was rich and colourful. The use of the very small space conveyed everything from epic battlefields to cramped caves. Highly recommend.
