What I liked

John’s merger of size and intimacy is amazing. He hits all the notes needed for an entertaining theatrical experience while striking a quiet depth that juxtaposes and compliments the epic-ness of Beowulf.

What I didn't like

Lean in more to those dynamic, sharp turns. Our audience seemed to especially love those moments.

My overall impression

I thought John gave a masterful performance. His mastery of the language, physicality, space and story was unprecedented. He truly creates the world for the audience!
