The performance. Smart, nuanced, funny and soulful. John Heimbuch brings the story of Beowulf to life in a way no Hollywood film ever could.

Nothing. It was perfect.
My overall impression
A stunning, minimalist adaptation of Beowulf. Thrilling and poetic and laugh-out-loud funny. Brilliantly performed. Couldn’t have asked for more.
