What I liked
Charlie Bethel reinterpreted the original story with a few updates in the language and some well-timed comedic beats & pauses. Heimbuch’s performance was riveting.
What I didn't like
My only complaint would be the somewhat sterile confines of a black box theater. However, we’re so close to the performance that Heimbuch was able to incorporate the necessary intimacy for the storytelling.
My overall impression
A delightful hour of pure storytelling.
