What I liked
Heimbuch takes the—literally—ancient tale of Beowulf and stages it not as “cultural vegetables,” but as an audience might have heard it a thousand years ago, around a fire, or in a smoky tavern.
One actor taking you through a story, not with “importance” but as a thrilling, entertaining tale.
What I didn't like
It’s technically simple; for example the lights are unchanging and there’s no music, but this is an out of state, one-person show.
My overall impression
The amazingly simple art of spinning a tale.
