What I liked
The acting of Nick Versteeg and his reincarnation of Tommy Cooper.
What I didn't like
Get another director and take another shot at the script. The raw material is all there.
My overall impression
Niek Versteeg is a real talent and his acting chops were considerable but, the direction of this show was abysmal. Slowing down the action for useless breaks so that Versteeg could cross the stage in darkness. These interludes were not helped by somewhat lackluster and banal writing. There is a truly interesting show in there, but not in this iteration.
