What I liked
I loved the capacity for joy in this work. Especially as it regards a bygone era of show business that few young actors acknowledge. Niek’s enthusiasm and gift for storytelling is superb.

My overall impression
A most unusual subject and fabulously acted performance. Niek Versteeg’s enthusiasm for a bygone era of Show Business is refreshing and surprising. His acting is by turns wonderfully entertaining and moving.
