The routines and jokes were delivered with the same masterful timing as the maestro himself.
What I didn't like
Family relationships, public perceptions and health issues could have maybe been mined further to add an extra ten minutes of entertainment.
My overall impression
The late, great British comedy magician Tommy Cooper finally gets celebrated in Hollywood – something this immensely talented figure deserved when still alive – thanks to this tender and terrific show which is a fine addition to the ‘tears of a clown’ genre.
