My overall impression
I opened Block Blast on my desktop thinking I’d play for maybe three minutes. Just a quick brain reset before getting back to work. Ten minutes later I was hunched forward, mouse in hand, silently negotiating with an L shaped block that refused to fit anywhere, while a single lonely square sat in the corner of the grid like it was judging my life choices. That’s the thing about Block Blast. It doesn’t announce itself as anything serious, and then suddenly you’re emotionally invested in whether you can squeeze one more piece into a shrinking board.
