What I liked
I feel like I’m watching my favorite talk show host in my own living room, and he’s on my couch giving my heart a pep talk – Ramon is an absolute delight with energy and positivity to spare and share. Creator Ruby perpetuates a safe space that gives the audience permission to get playful, and halfway through HFF23, this is exactly what I needed.
What I didn't like
The tech could have acquiesced and cranked the volume when asked. Repeatedly. Just sayin.
My overall impression
Charismatic and optimistically explosive host Ramon takes the audience on a transdisciplinary joyride. If you’re an artist, this show is playshop therapy; go and breathe! If you’re a patron, come and play! Either way, Ramon’s spiritual cheerleading will have you on your feet. This is the most fun I’ve had at Fringe.
