I loved being able to identify my own anxieties and fears as well as identifying group ones. It was very affirming to realize that we shared so many in common. I also really liked starting with the darker territory and moving toward the light by show’s end.
What I didn't like
Toward the end, we maybe danced a little often, but that’s probably the best criticism I could ever share — not really one at all.
My overall impression
Such a joyful breath of fresh air! Ramon presents us with a wheel of feelings that we explore together as an audience via simple chants, songs, play, and movement. The small space is perfect for feeling like part of a collective, and the necessary masks probably make us feel braver too. A wonderfully spent hour that left me feeling warm and happier.
