Our parents that are supposed to be our guiding lights do not always come properly equipped with the life tools we need to help us solve our problems, and when their toxic behavior is in fact at the root of many of our problems, it can be quite a journey to overcome them. It really is baffling how the world tries to keep us small. Like that 'Gopher Game' in carnivals where you take a mallet and bonk peeking heads of gophers back in their holes. Lisa's dueling personalities, 'Warrioress' and 'Shame' are in all of us as we grow and develop to discover who we are.
